some joker said: There was an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman... hmm that's not much of a joke - so ok, there was a Pole as well!
and that's us :-)
Innit sez: The Crusties are based in the West Algarve, and have drifted here from all over Europe. Core members are Brendan (vocals), Fish (bass), Mirek (drums) and Stuart (guitar), and on occasion they pull in other local musos for a tune or two. They've been playing together in one form or another for the last five years or so. Me, I'm Innit... the sensible, articulate one. Woof woof! |

we ain't well behaved all the time. well we're not badly behaved all the time, really... but we do know how to 'ave A Rite Proper Larf!
we ain't really pretty. Fish might think he is, but he ain't, he's jus a minging old git. Stu's a right minger an' all. an' Mirek the Poleboy, well he's jus weird.... check the pix.... well maybe Bren is a bit pretty.... the girls seem to think so.... huh... grrrrr...
Innit sez: Quite. So now you can see what you're dealing with.Good luck... |

we play Da Blues and Good Ol Rock 'n' Roll!
we also chuck in large chunks of R'n'B and soul and rock classics.
an' we always have a Good Time :-)
Innit sez: Clearly these boys are the genuine article. From the mud on their boots to the froth on their lips, they ooze the authenticity of lives wasted rolling around in muddy fields, with nothing more than a battered guitar, a crate of beer and a dag on a string for company. The true music of a unique sub-culture, they play their blues with a heartfelt integrity fused with staggering dexterity: think Snatch meets Deliverance. Be sure not to miss them when they stagger into your village. |
